I know you get a lot of requests in November, so I'm giving you a little more time to work out my presents. I realize this makes me even nicer than you originally presumed, which was not intended (believe you me). I'm just trying to make your job a little easier.
I have a few requests for this year. I know you had a deal worked out with my parents that I would only get one present every year (which I'm totally not mad about even though my friends got all kinds of cool stuff); however, this year I have need of a few more things.
1) An otter. Who doesn't want a pet otter, Mr. Claus?
Case and point:
2) A job at the L o'C. I know you might not be as involved in the U.S. Gvt as you used to be, but I think you might still have some strings you can pull at the Library. Could you tug them for me?

3) My passport. I can't seem to find it.
4) A new bike. If at all possible, could it be waiting for me in the rent-controlled studio apartment you found for me in the DC area?
That's all I can think of right now. But since I've started early, you might be hearing back from me again.
Thanks again for the American Girl Dolls.
Love,
Marieke
